Class begins with a discussion of this region’s diverse and evolving food culture and a demo of a herbaceous and addictive Mushroom and Leek pâté. Our main entrée of Pacific Rim Salmon cooked in en papillote ( in parchment paper) and featured side of Thai Carrot Salad with Chili-Lime Vinaigrette explore Asian influences on West Coast cooking. And what would a culinary adventure through the birthplace of Starbucks be without a great cup ‘o Joe? Dessert is an espresso hazelnut shortbread tucked into a bowl of mixed berries and mascarpone. Dishes are paired with your choice of regional beer or wine. Food, drink and recipes provided.
