Through demo and lively stories, Shawnie shares traditional dishes, regional food customs, and wonderful wines. Sample a rustic three-onion potato soup straight from a farmhouse kitchen in the hills above Avignon. Learn to make one of Burgundy’s most revered dishes, Coq au Vin Blanc, while sipping a paired Burgundian wine. These white wine-stewed, seared chicken legs are a savory, hearty entree. We finish in Paris with an elegant, silky dark chocolate and orange mousse. Food, wine and recipes provided.
